Beautician with long experience, aromatherapist, professional teacher of cosmetology. Leelo has acquired her professional skills as a beautician and a professional teacher in Finland. Leelo has large experience working as a professional teacher of cosmetologists both in Estonia and Finland. She specialises in the chemistry of raw materials and their effect on the skin. She has written numerous professional articles in various publications, been the editor-in-chief of a professional beauty magazine and managed the activities of the Estonian Beauticians Association among other things.
Leelo has also released a textbook on raw materials for professionals, which is used as a textbook in beauty schools for teaching – The Cosmetic Chemistry. Cosmetic Chemistry Study Material for Cosmetologists.
In her presentation at the ‘I Am Beautiful’ seminar, Leelo Simisker talks about the key antioxidants in the cosmetic industry, how antioxidants affect the condition of the skin and how their deficiency is reflected in the body.
